El 17 de marzo de 2013, la Directora Jefe interina del Teatro de Ópera y Ballet Chaikovski de Perm (Rusia) cayó desde 3 m de altura sobre el foso de orquesta abierto durante un ensayo de Peer Gynt.. Olga Enns, de 33 años, se golpeó en la cabeza y con urgencia fue trasladada al hospital donde ingresó en cuidados intensivos en estado crítico. Olga pasó dos semanas en coma, y el 02 de abril de 2013, falleció.
Olga había trabajado en el teatro de Perm desde el 2006.
Las versiones preliminares
indican que la tragedia se produjo debido a la violación de las
normas de seguridad. El verano pasado el foso fue reconstruido, se
agrandó y se quitó la protección.
Al parecer, la
seguridad en los teatros rusos se contempla como una extraña rareza,
por no existir no existen ni las indemnizaciones por accidentes
laborales.
